‍ ORIGIN WORKS

Publishing. Film. AI.

Original stories. Independent publishing. Emerging cinema.

• Origin Works is an independent creative studio developing original stories across publishing, film, television, and emerging media. We bring our own literary and cinematic projects to life while helping other authors transform their manuscripts into professionally produced books.

• Our work begins with the written word and extends from page to screen. Through original novels, screenplays, independent publishing, and AI-assisted filmmaking, we develop character-driven stories rooted in myth, history, and humanity.

• Founded by award-winning screenwriter, filmmaker, and retired U.S. Army Special Forces veteran Steven B. Newman, Origin Works combines traditional storytelling craft with emerging creative technologies.

• Our mission is to develop original intellectual property, support independent authors, and explore new possibilities for cinematic entertainment.

AI & Emerging Cinema

Exploring what cinema can become.

• Origin Works integrates emerging artificial intelligence technologies into its creative and production workflows.

• Through our exploration of Liquid Cinema, we are investigating new approaches to cinematic storytelling, including photorealistic digital environments, performance capture, and AI-assisted film production.

• Our objective is not simply to reproduce conventional filmmaking through new technology, but to explore new creative possibilities while preserving the human performance and emotional truth at the heart of storytelling.
